A Caring Culture
Quality of care is a strong complement to quality of life
Achieving a person-centred focus in everything we do requires an open and transparent caring culture, strong leadership and teamwork throughout our organisation.
In our organisation developing a caring culture is the cornerstone of what our nursing homes are all about.
Care teams and home staff are engaged in meeting individual resident needs and prioritising resident dignity. We instill passion for quality care and compassion among staff at every level of our organisation.
With dedication and focus, a positive culture has been fostered in our homes – a culture where our nursing homes stand out among others, are a pleasure to work in, and happy homes for our residents.
Our Directors of Nursing and home administrators are strong and consistent advocates of our caring culture. They are role models that exemplify caring at all times and are pivotal in ensuring that ‘our residents are at the centre of our universe’.
Role models are found at all levels of our dynamic facilities, from nurses and healthcare assistants to housekeeping and catering.
The central Support Office ensures that the resources, standards, regulations and best practice are developed to support the Director of Nursing in each home. Our valued personnel are treated in an open, honest, fair and respectful way – they are constantly challenged to perform to the best of their ability.
Our priority is to ensure continuous improvement in quality of nursing home care as we continue to build a successful and sustainable care community.
