Sligo Nursing Home is a luxurious, custom-designed, nursing home and one of our most popular nursing and residential homes.
Community
The home has 62 beds with 30 private luxury en-suite rooms and 16 luxury double rooms for those preferring to share. Luxury convalescent rooms are available for those requiring an even higher standard of comfort with the added benefit of overnight visitor accommodation where required – subject to availability.
Bright sunny dining rooms provide an opportunity for socialising or meals can be served in rooms if requested. Outside is a landscaped garden with a secure area for residents to exercise and enjoy a gentle walk. There are several communal and quiet lounges around the home as well as areas where residents can pursue their hobbies or enjoy therapeutic activities.
Supporting the Director of Nursing each home has a dedicated team of staff nurses, senior healthcare assistants, healthcare assistants, activity coordinator, social care practitioner, allied healthcare professionals and ancillary staff, who’s focus is to enhance the lives of the elderly residents in their care.

We encourage residents to live full, active lives through engaging activities tailored to their preferences.
Our activity coordinators create weekly schedules featuring music, exercise, gardening, social gatherings, and more, offering support that enriches body, mind, and spirit. Residents can pursue personal hobbies or join group activities in communal spaces.
