Mowlam Healthcare’s Park Nursing Home Nursing Home held a day of celebrations to mark its 10th birthday.

Since opening its doors in December 2008  The Park Nursing Home’s philosophy of care has been to enhance the quality of life for older people. 10 years on The Park care team remain ever committed to clinical excellence, compassion, and improving the health outcomes for the older people in their care.

The Park Nursing Home, centrally located in Castletroy, Limerick, is a 56-bed modern home, providing the highest standard of care 24 hours a day. The home provides residential care as well as specialist care for those with dementia, involving residents with memory loss in daily activities that help them feel valued and provide them with a sense of purpose.

The Park Nursing Home employs 70 people from the local community. Supporting Director of Nursing, Noreen O Brien, are a dedicated and highly trained team of staff nurses, senior healthcare assistants, healthcare assistants, activity coordinator, social care practitioner, allied healthcare professionals and ancillary staff, who go above and beyond each and every day, endeavouring to maintain the lifestyle of your loved one after moving to nursing home care.

“Residents and their families had a really enjoyable day celebrating our special milestone and Christmas Party. Two members of staff were also recognised for 10yrs of service, Mary Delaney and Klaudia Sorupa. Awards were also presented to Julie Sheehan, Kamila Puszc, Geraldine McGuiness, Kathleen Ryan and Orla Shahab in grateful recognition of their valued and generous commitment to exceptional care for the benefit of our residents, their families and colleagues.
